This web site is provided by Colorado's Adams County District 27 ARES and RACES group. This Group is also a Adams County CERT Certified Organization. The purpose of this site is to provide licensed amateur radio operators information about ARES activities in the area, and to facilitate ACARES planning and administration activities. This site is moderated, only members can post to the message board and calendar. To join or request information please provide your Call sign and your full name address and telephone number via e-mail to the Webmaster.
We have a weekly ON-THE AIR meeting each Monday at 19:45 local time on the 146.805 or the 447.175 WA2YZT Repeater with a required PL tone of 186.2. If you would like information about becoming a Amateur Radio Operators please check out the ARRL web site.http://www.arrl.org
